How to save the contact details card (Vcard, .vcf) in the phonebook of an iOS and Android smartphone
The procedure varies depending on your mobile.
On iPhone
(Before iOS 13)
- Click on the "Download contact" button, your iPhone will bring up a Vcard file which it will prompt you to open by clicking on "open in contacts ".
- Your contact's Vcard then appears on the screen and all you have to do is save the new contact in your phonebook by clicking on "Save " in the top right-hand corner.
(From iOS 13)

Click on the "Download contact" button, or on the button (https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/79b45622483fc800/img47006a0c7d53-1_11irrkb.jpeg) at the bottom left of the digital business card, your iPhone will then create a Vcard with the information contained in the card.

Two options:
- On your contact's Vcard, keep your finger pressed down on the photo or image with your contact's initials, then click on "+ New Contact" then "OK" in the top right-hand corner.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the card and click on the "New contact" button, then "OK" in the top right-hand corner.
Tutorial on how to save a Vcard on iPhone
On Android :
- Click on the "Download contact " button or on the button (https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/79b45622483fc800/img47006a0c7d53-1_1fxsqud.jpeg) at the bottom left of the digital business card.
- Once downloaded, find the downloaded Vcard file with the .vcf extension in the smartphone's notification bar.
- Click on the Vcard file (.vcf) to open it, then save the contact in your phonebook.
**Your phone book may contain several accounts (Gmail / Hotmail / Outlook ...). You will need to select the one in which you want to save the contact.
