Keyword function or how can I find a business card saved in a telephone if I can't remember the name of the company or the name of my contact?

By default, your contact details can be accessed by entering your first and last name or the name of your company, just like any other telephone contact.

The "Keywords" option allows you to record in the "Note" field of the vCard the formulas of your choice that will make it easier to find you, by identifying any information of your choice, within the limit of the 256 characters allowed by the vCard format.

*For example: interactive business card, agent, florist, coaching, cooking, real estate, javascript, industrial pumps, etc.

Share your digital business card

There are several options for sharing your business card.

Simply click on the share button at the bottom right of your card to open the menu.

Then click on "Share my info".

From your smartphone's sharing menu, select the method you want to use depending on the applications available (see example below for iPhone).

The different sharing options

• SMS A text message is automatically generated. Simply enter the contact's number and send the message.
• E-mail An e-mail with a pre-populated subject and message is generated automatically. All you have to do is enter the e-mail address and send.
• WhatsApp The application must be installed. Select the contact and click Send.
• QR Code Displays the QR code on your card. Once scanned, the card will open automatically.
• Copy / Paste Copy the sharing message to the clipboard and paste it wherever you like (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.).

⚠️ Recommendation

Some applications open the map in an integrated browser, which limits certain functions. For best results, open the map in :

• Safari (iPhone)
• Chrome (Android)

Scan a QR code with an iPhone

Open the camera, frame the QR code (neither too close nor too far), then click on the thumbnail that appears.

Sharing via NFC

NFC sharing lets you send your digital business card simply by bringing your NFC card or device close to the other person's smartphone.

⚠️ Important: To use this feature, you must first purchase a CARD.PM NFC card or any other compatible NFC device (plate, badge, sticker, etc.).

How does NFC sharing work?

1. check that NFC is activated on the other person's smartphone (activated by default on most recent phones).
2. bring your NFC card close to the phone
3. a notification will automatically appear on the screen
4. simply click on it to open your digital business card.

No application is required.

Where to position the NFC card?

📱 On Android The NFC sensor is usually located on the back of the phone, in the middle. Place your NFC card in the centre of the back of the smartphone for 1 to 2 seconds.

🍎 On iPhone The NFC sensor is located at the top of the phone. You can position the card :

• either at the top of the back
• or on the front at the top of the screen

Hold the card still for 1 to 2 seconds.

Compatibility

• ✅ iPhone XR and more recent models
• ✅ Most recent Android smartphones (NFC enabled in settings)

Practical advice

• Remove very thick shells if necessary.
• If nothing happens, move the card slightly upwards or towards the centre.
• Hold the contact for 1 to 2 seconds.

NFC is still the fastest and smoothest way to share your card: a simple gesture and your information is already recorded.

On iPhone

(Before iOS 13)

1. Click on the "Download contact" button, your iPhone will bring up a Vcard file which it will prompt you to open by clicking on "open in contacts ".
2. Your contact's Vcard then appears on the screen and all you have to do is save the new contact in your phonebook by clicking on "Save " in the top right-hand corner.

(From iOS 13)

1. Click on the "Download contact" button, or on the button (https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/79b45622483fc800/img47006a0c7d53-1_11irrkb.jpeg) at the bottom left of the digital business card, your iPhone will then create a Vcard with the information contained in the card.

2. Two options:

• On your contact's Vcard, keep your finger pressed down on the photo or image with your contact's initials, then click on "+ New Contact" then "OK" in the top right-hand corner.
• Scroll down to the bottom of the card and click on the "New contact" button, then "OK" in the top right-hand corner.

Tutorial on how to save a Vcard on iPhone

On Android :

1. Click on the "Download contact " button or on the button (https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/79b45622483fc800/img47006a0c7d53-1_1fxsqud.jpeg) at the bottom left of the digital business card.
2. Once downloaded, find the downloaded Vcard file with the .vcf extension in the smartphone's notification bar.
3. Click on the Vcard file (.vcf) to open it, then save the contact in your phonebook.

**Your phone book may contain several accounts (Gmail / Hotmail / Outlook ...). You will need to select the one in which you want to save the contact.

The QR code lets you :

• If a face-to-face contact doesn't want to give you their phone number or email, they can still retrieve your card.
• Make a public business card recoverable by a simple scan on a printed visual medium (kakemono, vehicle, flyer, etc.).
• Easily transfer the card from a computer to a smartphone.

Your contact will need to scan the QR code using an application. The iPhone camera can scan QR codes simply by holding it up to the lens, but it must be well framed.

Automatic ranking from best to worst performer based on card activity.

👤 Column: VISIT CARD Name of employee associated with the card.

Name of the employee associated with the card. (Data anonymised in this version)

📧 Column: EMAIL

Professional email address linked to the card. (Data anonymised in this version)

🔢 Column: SINGLE CONTACTS

Number of different people who have clicked at least once on the card.

Example:

• 892 unique contacts" = 892 different people have consulted this map.

🔁 Column: NUMBER OF OPENINGS

Total number of times the card has been opened, including repeat visits by the same contact.

Example:

• 2,478 openings = the card has been opened a total of 2,478 times.

📈 Column: CONSULTATION FREQUENCY

Ratio calculated: Number of openings ÷ Number of unique contacts`

This is used to measure interest in or re-use of the card.

Reading:

• 1.5` = each contact consulted the card 1.5 times on average.
